The small island of Myken lies far out at sea. Here, on the outer edge of the Helgeland coast, with Greenland as the nearest neighbour to the west, 13 residents hold on through the winter storms.
Then spring arrives, the houses fill up, and we welcome visitors. That’s where you come in.
You are an experienced chef, able to work independently.
High work capacity---with the ability to solve challenges that arise on a "remote island." Access to ingredients is fantastic out here at sea, but supply challenges do occur due to our remote location.

Myken Seng og Suppe is a small accommodation and the island's only restaurant, full of character and set in spectacular surroundings. We have eight rooms, three of which are caravans located in our indoor campsite.
Seng og Suppe is the island's meeting place, where locals and tourists gather in the evenings. We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on the best the region and the sea have to offer.
We need your help to take this wonderful project further.
We offer a workplace right in the heart of a natural pantry. You will help develop local flavours, serve happy guests, and maintain close relationships with our skilled producers and suppliers. Most of all, you will become part of the Myken adventure.
