Chef wanted for the summer season at Senja Fjordhotell
Senja Fjordhotell is looking for a skilled and motivated chef for the summer season from May/June through September.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic kitchen environment and wants to contribute to great dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu and standards
- Work with both à la carte service and occasional events/functions
- Contribute to efficient daily kitchen operations together with the team
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and compliance with HACCP routines
- Handle goods and deliveries, including checking quality of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness, structure, and organization in the kitchen
- Contribute to improving routines and workflow
Qualifications and personal qualities:
- You speak a Scandinavian language, or understand Norwegian well
- You speak English fluently
- Experience with Norwegian or Nordic cuisine is an advantage
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Structured, tidy, and focused on cleanliness
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good references from previous or current jobs
